The purpose of this seminar is to provide training on the principles of personal time management such as planning, achieving goals and prioritizing. It will also touch upon project management skills such as how to break down a large project into smaller action steps and work toward achieving it within a structured, organized approach.

Trainer: Dr. Mohammed Chehade
Dr. Mohammed Chehade has a Ph.D degree in management with over 20 years of extensive experience in developing Nonprofit Organizations.
He served in different capacities as founder, board member, director, manager, and consultant at numerous American Muslim nonprofit organizations. Dr. Chehade has well-versed knowledge in planning processes for strategy development and deployment. He is highly accomplished professional in performing strategic assessment and formulating goals; understanding of regulatory, organizational structure and board-executive relationships; strong academic and professional training background that combines research and scientific analysis with organizational development skills; provides training and coaching to nonprofit staff and professionals; focuses on strategic planning, mission development, organizational behavior, human and financial resources development, time management, project management, capacity building, branding & marketing, and fundraising. A unique trait of Dr. Chehade is his strong passion for excellence and best practices.
Dr. Chehade has several publications. He devised a pioneering marketing strategy ‘The Missing-Link Cycle’ for international organizations, aiming for effective communication with its benefactors as well as its various levels of branches. He co-authored books on nonprofit development; the latest of which is ‘Guarding a Sacred Trust: Muslim Nonprofit Management for Post 911 World’, and four other books in Arabic:

He also authored a paper presented by InterAction to United States Agency for International Development (USAID) entitled ‘American Muslim Charities and America’s Image and Perception Abroad: Building Bridges in Humanitarian Relief’. In addition, he worked on numerous research studies and writings on Muslim philanthropy in the US, notably the first analytical study of its kind on the volume and recipients of American Muslim charitable giving in the US, reviewed positively by the Chronicle of Philanthropy.
Dr. Chehade is a member of Strategic Management Society, Association of Strategic Planning, Association of Consultants to Nonprofits, and Center for Excellence in Nonprofits.
